We have written posts about our favorite Salt Lake catering venues before, but it seems like we should write another one! There are so many wonderful venues in the Salt Lake Valley that deserve a mention. There is such a wide variety of places- from the elegant to the rustic. Whatever event you are dreaming up, Salt Lake Valley definitely has a venue that will not only fit your budget but also you style. Let’s go over a few that we love.
Cactus and Tropicals
Draper, UT
Cactus and Tropicals is an oasis. No matter the season, your event at Cactus and Tropicals will feel like a getaway. This venue is an enclosed greenhouse, so year round, it is lush and inviting. As you can imagine, it’s especially wonderful during the cold winter months. That staff at Cactus and Tropicals meticulously cared for the plants, so everything looks perfect. Salt Lake catering always looks great at this venue. On top of all of that, their staff is great to work with. It’s always a pleasure for us to work with them.
Hale Centre Theater
Sandy, UT
If you enjoy seeing plays or musical theater, you probably know all about Hale Centre Theater. The Hale family has been a constant fixture in the theater world in Utah for decades. And their reputation for quality theater is unmatched. They opened their new facility in 2018 and it’s just as grand as they promised. As part of the new theater, they added some event space. This event space is ideal for weddings, meetings and corporate events. There are also options for your event guests to attend a play as part of your meeting. The entertainment is built in!
Utah State Fair Park
Salt Lake City, UT
You might not include the Utah State Fair Park as an option for Salt Lake catering, but it might surprise you to know they have incredible event spaces. They actually have 5 indoor spaces and 2 outdoor spaces. All of the spaces have high capacities. As their website states, the fair is only 11 days in September. The other 354 days are available for all kinds of events! The Utah State Fair Park is minutes from the airport and even closer to downtown. And there is excellent parking. This venue is great for surprising your guests and changing things up.
Publik Coffee
Salt Lake City, UT
You might not think of a coffee shop as a place for an event, but Publik Coffee might change your mind. This venue goes beyond coffee roasting. They have a unique space they open up for events. It is two stories with the top floor opening up to the bottom. The wood accents feel rustic yet unique. You won’t even realize you are in a coffee shop. On top of all that, the staff at Publik are warm and inviting. We love working with them!
