In that time, we have become pretty familiar with the unique wedding scene here in Utah. We know what makes for a great event and how to create an atmosphere that isn’t just memorable but also cost-effective. This knowledge can only come with experience. You can’t learn these kinds of things in culinary school or in a hospitality course. It’s only going to happen with hands on work. Forgo the Little Things
I know, it doesn’t seem to make sense to say forget the little details. But really when you think about it, you don’t wait to distract from the things that actually matter to you. Zero in on what you want the focus to be and stay the course on that. For example, choose one main centerpiece instead of a few. Donut walls are a popular trend right now, so if you want to go that route, go all out. Don’t add another big feature like a chalkboard wall or dessert bar. When it comes to catering in Utah Valley, you want to keep themes focused and not frilly. It’s quality over quantity!
Choose Either Classic or Unique- Not In Between
If you are looking to leave an impact, you need to swing to one side or the other. Choose a theme that is classic, such as white flowers and black tuxedo and bow tie. And each guest was given a simple fleece blanket with a small message from the bride and groom. The blanket will be used for years to come and anytime someone uses it, they will remember that wedding and how great it was so sit around the fire with friends and family and enjoy the evening.
