As we move into our 16th year of Rockwell Catering here in Utah, we felt like to was time to reintroduce ourselves. In 16 years of owning Rockwell Catering, we have seen just about every type of event you can imagine. Charity events, Christmas parties, funerals, high school reunions, fundraisers, birthdays, weddings of all kinds. In fact, we have done a wedding on Halloween night- in a cemetery. We have had memorable events and events that didn’t go as planned. Whatever event there is, we love connecting with customers and guests. We LOVE being apart of your big moments.
Wedding Catering by Rockwell Catering
We are often asked what kinds of events we cater the most. The answer is always going to be WEDDINGS! About 3/4 of the events we do in a year are wedding receptions and wedding dinners. These have been large scale events, like around 500 people. Or small intimate parties with 50 people. Rockwell Catering can make either type of event feel just the way you want it too. Rockwell Catering at Highland Gardens
Being there to make events run smooth and make the host feel calm is our number one priority. With 16 years of experience, we are confident we can manage any type of wedding, no matter the venue. When it comes to venues, we have been to nearly all of them. The review above was for a wedding at Highland Gardens in American Fork. It is one of our favorites! Other wedding venues in Utah County that we love are The Rooftop in Lehi, Walker Farms in Lindon and Sleepy Ridge in Orem. All of these venues, and many more, are great partners in creating the perfect wedding day.
Corporate Events
The next most common event we cater are corporate events. Here at Rockwell Catering, our most busy corporate catering season is Christmas! We do upward of 20 corporate Christmas parties in the month of December. It is nice to put together a beautiful event for companies that want to treat their employees and associates to a nice meal to say thank you and happy holidays.
Some of the corporate catering events we have done have been very casual affairs. For example, for the last few years, we have done a construction company’s Christmas party at Social Axe Throwing in Salt Lake City. The fun, casual environment really encourages company comradery and moral. The menu for an event like that is always a classic “meat and potatoes” type affair. Think BBQ pork, mac and cheese and potato salad! Who says Christmas has to mean holiday-style food!?

Corporate Catering Venues
Of course, Rockwell Catering has done plenty of formal events for Christmas corporate catering. One venue that always bring the holiday shine is the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City. Other great venues in Salt Lake County for corporate Christmas parties are the Cleon Peterson Eccles Alumni House in Salt Lake City, Crescent Hall in Draper and Twenty and Creek in Sandy. Private Events
Certain events in life require someone to come in with their expertise and just handle things. You don’t want to have to send out a food sign up sheet or make it a potluck. Sometimes you just want to settle in, have a good time and let someone else do the work. For those events, you want Rockwell Catering. We have seen just about every kind of party imaginable. A high school 40 year reunion, family retreat, military ball, charity foundation fundraiser, surprise birthday party- you name it- we can take care of the food, beverage, set up, clean up, staffing, equipment etc. We can keep the focus on having fun.
A luncheon event by Rockwell Catering
Not all of life’s events are meant to be a party. Occasionally, you might find yourself in a position of having to put together a funeral service or a celebration of life. These events can often be last minute. Here at Rockwell Catering, we take great pride in knowing the right tone to set for an event like that. Often times, grief can be too overpowering and planning a luncheon can be too much. We know it is a complicated time. Let us take the wheel and have things ready to go for you and your loved ones.
